Russia chose to violate the rules
of international coexistence that it had helped to establish,
while the European Union, on the other hand, appears to be an
element of guarantee of the freedom and independence of the
peoples who belong to and wish to be a part of it, said Italian
President Sergio Mattarella at the Arrajolos summit. Mattarella
went on to say that all of this strengthens the case for
enlargement to Ukraine, the Western Balkans, Moldova, and, when
the time comes, Georgia.
