"The accession of Ukraine to the
EU does not coincide with Hungary's national interests. It is
possible that no agreement will be reached, and European unity
will be shattered," said Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban
in an interview with Kossuth Rádió. "Unity can be defended by
avoiding putting issues on the agenda on which there is no
agreement," said the prime minister, referring to the discussion
on the start of negotiations at the EU in Kiev.
