According to the fourteenth
edition of the QS university rankings, Italian university
education ranks seventh in the world and second in the EU. In
the EU, Italy ranks second only to Germany. Among the
universities, the University of Rome La Sapienza stands out for
its continued global leadership in classical studies and ancient
history.
