As part of the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) Virtual Marathon for Dialogue in the EuroMed, on June 15 there will be the third panel of #GenderIDTalks on "Media e Advertising", organized by the Anna Lindh Foundation National Networks of Romania - Group of the European Youth for Change (GEYC), Turkey - Anka Gençlik Derneği (Anka Youth Association) and Tunisia - La voix de l'enfant rural (AVER). "#GenderIDTalks aims to promote gender equality in the sense of raising awareness on the topic of Women and gender stereotypes in a cross-cultural and cross-sectorial way, by connecting it to other key issues (SDGs and ICD, entrepreneurship, media and advertising, youth and digital) and empowering people towards a meaningful civic, economic, social, and cultural participation," according to the presentation of the event on the ALF website. The panels "will give them a voice and bring youth together with stakeholders, to exchange experiences and ideas as an important asset for solidarity and future," it added. During Panel 3 - Media and Advertising, which will be broadcast live on Facebook from 6 PM, panelists from Europe and the EuroMed region explore "the current situation, the challenges, and opportunities of addressing gender stereotypes when it comes to media and advertising industries, how these influence our perception of the other genders."
